Which propane cylinder size should be used with a space heater?
The size of cylinder that you should use depends on the power of your individual space heater as well as the storage area that you have available to site the bottle of propane in your property.
If possible we would recommend a 47kg size of bottle as this will give a really good usage time - even with a really large propane fired space heater. If space is limited in your warehouse, worksop, or factory, then a 18kg or 19kg refill propane bottle will do, but it might be worth keeping a spare bottle on-hand incase the gas runs out at an inconvenient time, usually at some point when you really need the heater to be in-use to keep machinery and staff productive!
